Relocation
Relocation and Settlement Support
A move succeeds or fails on the practical details. Where to live. Which school will take the children mid-year. What to bring and what to leave. How to open a bank account, register a tenancy, or find a doctor.
None of it is complicated. All of it is unfamiliar at the same time, usually while someone is also starting a new job.
Who this service is for
- Employees and families moving to Saudi Arabia
- Families in Saudi Arabia preparing to move to another country
- Employers supporting relocating staff
- Dependants joining a family member already in the Kingdom
What this service includes and excludes
This is practical coordination and information support. It is not immigration representation, it is not legal advice, it is not property agency, and it is not educational placement.
Where a regulated service is needed, such as a licensed property agent, a lawyer, a school admissions process or a shipping company, we will point you to it and coordinate around it rather than pretend to provide it ourselves.
Moving to Saudi Arabia
- Pre-arrival preparation
- What to prepare before travelling, which documents to bring, and what to have attested in your home country before you leave. The last of these is where families most often create problems for themselves.
- Arrival orientation
- How the first weeks work: residence permit issuance, national address registration, opening a bank account, mobile and utility connections, and getting around.
- Housing guidance
- How the rental market works, what a tenancy involves, how compounds differ from standard housing, and what questions to ask. We provide guidance and introductions; we are not a property agent.
- Schooling guidance
- How international school admission generally works, what documentation schools ask for, and how timing affects availability. We provide information and introductions; we do not place children in schools.
- Family settlement
- Practical support for dependants arriving, including the documentation cycle and the everyday administration of settling in.
- Healthcare and insurance orientation
- How medical cover generally works for expatriate employees and their families.
Moving from Saudi Arabia
- Pre-departure documentation
- What to obtain before you leave: attested documents, police clearance certificates, employment references, school records and medical records. Obtaining these after you have left is significantly harder, and this is the most valuable thing we do in this category.
- Exit administration
- The documentation sequence involved in closing your position in the Kingdom.
- Destination preparation
- Coordinating with the immigration side of your move: see International Immigration & Visas.
Corporate mobility
For employers, we coordinate the relocation elements alongside the documentation cycle: arrival support for the employee and family, orientation, and the practical settling-in period. Scope is agreed in writing for each engagement.
What we need from you
- Your timeline and family composition
- The destination or origin country
- Any employer policy or allowance that shapes the arrangements
- Notice of what has already been arranged
Common mistakes
- Leaving attestation of documents until after departure
- Arriving mid-academic-year without checking school availability first
- Signing a tenancy before understanding the terms and payment structure
- Not obtaining a police clearance certificate before leaving a country
- Underestimating how long documentation for arriving dependants takes

Questions
Frequently asked
Do you find housing for us?
We provide guidance and introductions. We are not a licensed property agent and we do not act as one.
Can you get our children into a specific school?
No. We explain how admission generally works, what documents schools ask for, and how timing affects availability. Admission decisions belong to the school.
Do you move furniture and belongings?
No. We can coordinate with shipping providers, but we are not a moving company.
We are leaving Saudi Arabia. What should we do first?
Attest your documents before you leave, and obtain your police clearance certificate and employment references while you are still here. That single step saves most families weeks later.
Is relocation support included in immigration services?
They are separate services that work well together. Scope and fees are set out in writing for each.
