About working with Peregrine

Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?

No, and neither can anyone else. Immigration decisions are made by governments. Any consultancy promising approval is either misunderstanding the process or misrepresenting it.

Are you licensed immigration advisers?

Peregrine is a consultancy registered in Saudi Arabia. Some countries restrict paid immigration advice and representation to professionals licensed in that country. Where that applies to your case, we tell you before you engage us and explain who can act for you.

What does a consultation cost?

You always receive the scope and the fee in writing before you pay.

What happens in the consultation?

We discuss your situation, your goal and your timeline, identify which routes are realistically open to you, and give you a written summary and a document plan.

Can you help if I have already started my application?

Usually yes. Bring what you have submitted so far and any correspondence you have received.

Will you tell me if my case is weak?

Yes. It is the most useful thing we can do, and it is why some clients leave a consultation deciding not to apply yet.

About documents

Do I need to send my passport or documents to enquire?

No. Please do not send identity documents, certificates, bank statements or medical records through the website form, email or WhatsApp. If we work together, documents are requested through a secure process after engagement.

How does attestation work from Saudi Arabia?

It depends on which country issued the document and which country will receive it. Saudi Arabia has been party to the Hague Apostille Convention since 7 December 2022, so for documents moving between Saudi Arabia and other member states a single apostille generally replaces consular legalisation. For non-member states, the traditional chain applies. See Application & Document Support.

My name is spelled differently on my passport and my degree. Is that a problem?

It can be. It is usually fixable, and much easier to address before submission than after a refusal.

How long do police clearance certificates stay valid?

It varies by country and by route, and they do expire. Obtaining them too early is a common and expensive mistake.

About visas and routes

Does my nationality or my residence in Saudi Arabia decide what I need?

Generally your nationality decides what you must apply for, and your residence decides where you apply. Two people in the same office can face entirely different processes.

Can I get a work visa without a job offer?

In most destinations, no. Some countries operate points-based skilled routes that do not need an employer, but those are a different category.

Which country is easiest?

There is no honest general answer. It depends on your nationality, qualifications, experience, language ability, funds and family situation.

How long will my application take?

Processing times are published by the destination authority and change regularly. We will point you to the current published figure rather than quote one we cannot control.

Can you make my application faster?

No. We have no privileged access to any government system. What we can do is remove the causes of avoidable delay.

I was refused before. Can I apply again?

Usually yes, but only after understanding why. Reapplying without addressing the reason typically produces the same result.

About Saudi business setup

Can a foreign investor own 100% of a Saudi company?

For many activities, yes. Not for all. Some activities are restricted or require additional approvals, so activity classification comes first.

Is it still called a MISA licence?

The term is still widely used, but the foreign investment licence was replaced by investor registration when the Investment Law came into force in February 2025. We use Investment Registration with MISA.

How long does company formation take?

It depends on your structure, activity, document readiness and your bank. The attestation of parent-company documents and the bank's own process usually control the timeline.

Do you provide tax or legal advice?

No. We coordinate registrations and work alongside qualified professionals. Legal opinions, tax advice and audit are outside our scope, and we will tell you when you need them.

Do you provide recruitment or manpower services?

No. We provide HR and workforce coordination. Recruitment and manpower supply are licensed activities in Saudi Arabia.
