What Peregrine helps with

Mapping the chain
We identify the correct sequence for each of your documents based on where it was issued and where it is going.
Saudi-issued documents
Employment letters, salary certificates, contracts and civil documents, including chamber and ministry steps where they apply.
Home-country documents
Degrees, transcripts, birth and marriage certificates issued outside Saudi Arabia, and how to have them processed from here.
Translation
Coordination with approved translation offices, so a translation is not rejected for coming from the wrong source.
Police clearance certificates
Which certificates you need, which countries must issue them, and when to obtain them. These documents expire, and obtaining them too early is a common and expensive mistake.
Appointments, biometrics and medicals
Booking, sequencing and preparation.
Application review
A full consistency check across every document and form before submission.

Refusal review and reapplication

A refusal is not always the end, but reapplying without understanding the reason usually produces the same result, and a second refusal is harder to recover from than the first. We will:

  • Read the refusal notice carefully and explain what it actually says
  • Identify whether the issue was eligibility, evidence, credibility or a procedural error
  • Tell you whether the problem can be fixed, and how long that will take
  • Confirm whether you have a right of appeal or review, and the deadline
  • Advise honestly when a further application is not the right step

We will not encourage a reapplication we do not think is sound.

What you need to provide

  • The original documents, or confirmation of where they are held
  • The refusal notice in full, where there has been one
  • Details of every previous application to any country
  • The destination country and route you are pursuing

Please do not send documents with your first enquiry. We will tell you exactly what to send, and how, once we have discussed your case.

Common mistakes

  • Attestation done in the wrong sequence, requiring the whole chain to be repeated
  • Translation by an office the receiving authority does not accept
  • Name mismatches between passport, degree certificate and residence permit
  • Police clearance certificates obtained months before submission
  • Documents laminated or altered, which can invalidate them
  • Reapplying after a refusal without addressing the stated reason

Official sources

We check this page against the authorities below. Where you are making a decision, read the authority itself rather than any summary of it, including ours.

  • Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Hague Conference on Private International Law
  • The immigration authority of your destination country

Last reviewed 13 October 2026. Next review due 13 January 2027. Immigration and business rules change between reviews, so confirm the current position with the relevant authority before you act on it.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does attestation take?

It depends on the issuing country, the type of document and the current volumes at each stage. We will give you a realistic sequence and tell you which step usually controls the timeline.

My name is spelled differently on my degree and my passport. Is that a problem?

It can be. It is usually fixable, but it is much easier to address before submission than after a refusal.

I was refused. How soon can I reapply?

Most countries allow a further application at any time, but timing is not the question: the question is what has changed since the refusal.

Do you guarantee my documents will be accepted?

No. We can make sure they follow the correct chain and are internally consistent, which is what makes acceptance likely.
